Although this section is relatively short, a very diverse experience awaits around Denmark’s eighth largest lake which is located in the Maribo Lakes Nature Park. Start the route with a cultural experience at Maribo Cathedral. If the cathedral bells ring unexpectedly, do not be surprised. They sound at sunrise and sunset as well as at 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm and 5 pm.
